Hi, I’m Joshua aka Spro!
I’ve been an on and off collector for most of my life, but following the hobby boom of 2021 I was drawn back in for good.
As the market corrected and stabilized I found that not many were willing to follow the correction and instead were clinging to peak sales data that quickly became history - except for when I wanted to sell them my books, then that data suddenly became irrelevant.
That sparked in me a desire to reward collectors for their years of collecting and to help active collectors reach their goals without paying more than the market dictates.
Whether its your old man’s collection you found in the attic or its time to move on from your own, Spro’s Comics is dedicated to making sure you feel rewarded when its time to move on. And if you’re looking for new additions to your collection, the market is on your side, I’m only a middle man.

Our Mindset
What We Buy & Sell
We love vintage comics and collectibles. Comic books from the 1930’s - 1980’s is our wheelhouse, if your comic has an original price between 10c - $1 then you’re in the right place! We like modern books too, but we get a bit more picky when it comes to the 1990’s - current era of comics. Still, we’d love to see what you got!
We’re also fans of vintage toys, all sports cards, & TCG cards. Bring whatever you got and we’d be more than happy to take a look!
How We Buy & Sell
We use vetted and reliable resources such as the Overstreet Price Guide, GPA, & GoCollect to appraise incoming inventory and to price our current stock. While the OPG is a guide released annually, GPA & GoCollect source recent sales data daily from the internets most popular resale/auction sites.
When it comes to buying or selling, nothing speaks louder than cash. If you’d like to sell to us, all our offers are CASH offers. If you buy from us, we accept nearly all forms of payment.
When/Where We Buy & Sell
We are always buying and selling. You can find books here (coming soon), on our Instagram page (also coming soon), or come visit us in person - by appointment only! We will also be doing live sales on Instagram in the near future.
If you’re looking to sell then you’re more than welcome to make an appointment and bring your books to our office, but we can also come to you if you prefer that. If you’re located anywhere in California, or its neighboring states, send us a picture or video of what you got and we can work from there. If you’re beyond that, reach out anyway and we can see what’s possible!
